Today my grandmother and I decided to head down to Huntington Beach, so I made a reservation at Duke's. I've been to multiple locations of Duke's which i truly like, but this one seems and feels like a tourist trap. We started off with the Crispy Coconut Shrimp which were good and all, but I wouldn't say the portion was correct for $19. For entrees, we ordered the Sashimi, Caesar Salad, and the Fish and Chips. My grandmother said the fish and chips were so-so because the amount of fish lacked as most of it was breading. She said the fries and coleslaw are the only things that saved the dish. I started off with the sashimi which for $22, was a generous portion. The quality of the fish wasn't the highest and had a little bit of a fishy taste. Overall, I wouldn't order this again. The Caesar Salad had a really good taste with the crunchiness of the broken up croutons. The dressing was citrusy which I like. The portion for $13 was a little small, but I have to understand this is a lunch-sized salad. Overall, The other locations I've been to are more beautiful and you don't feel like your at a restaurant at Disneyland. The service was attentive with refilling the drinks and making sure the items are good. I am willing to try it again for dinner as I am a huge fan of their Macadamia Fish, but I will not be returning for the brunch. I give this experience a 7/10.

Food 5* Service: 4* Ambiance: 5* Prices: 3* Location, location, location. This place is connected to the Huntington Beach pier. Great Hawaiian themed food and ambiance. The food was delicious. My partner had the loco moco (5*), I had the lobster eggs Benedict (5*) because, well lobster. The Benedict was really good, ample sauce but a little short on the lobster pieces. It felt like they were scraping the broom of the container to get all of it out of there. Other than that, it was delicious. For dessert, the whole table (15 people) shared the Hula pie. It is an ice cream cake and it was delicious. We will return.

Can't believe this is my first time at Dukes! It was definitely a great experience. Service was fast, we requested to sit by the window. It's a beautiful view during sunset. For appetizers, we order the poke tacos, calamari, and crab wontons. Definitely skill the wontons..they didn't have a lot of flavor. Poke tacos were good..had a little kick! Calamari was the best! Big portion and great dipping sauces! For an entree we split the prime rib, came with mashed potatoes, and asparagus! The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The star of the night was definitely the lobster tail! So butter and flavorful! I would come back just for another lobster tail! Highly recommend visiting!

We were in town for the holiday weekend and wanted to find a restaurant with a view. We got a variety of cocktails, from Old Fashioned to Lavender Yuzi to frozen drinks. They were OK, nothing special. For dinner, we had two of the house's special items: prime rib and grilled fish, ahi tuna steak, and a steak. The prime rib was everyone's favorite, and I highly recommend it! The ahi tuna was perfectly grilled and served on a bed of Asian greens. This was our second favorite dish. We had a birthday girl, and even with the busy running around, our nice server brought a high ice cream cake at the end of the dinner to help us celebrate a friend's birthday!

I feel like I am visiting this restaurant every year due to their excellent service, cool vibe, amazing beach view, and unforgettable food. I took my mom and sister one afternoon during the week and arrived before it was open. They have several chairs outside with huge shades so it was pleasant waiting. When the door opened, the staff were prompt to seat every single guests that were there in a short period of time, which was pretty impressive. All three of us were very satisfied with their drinks, food and most of all, customer service. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to come back again!

I have been to the La Jolla location several times so while on a work trip decided to bring a group here! It was great but coverall I prefer the La Jolla location a little but more for their outdoor patio and food. Began with a lemonade yuzu drink which was delicious and as a table we ordered a lot of appetizers! Loved the macadamia nut hummus and the calamari, poke tacos that I normally love were underwhelming and lacked flavor. I had the Ahi as a main course and the fish was cooked perfectly and and weirdly the rice which I was not planning on eating - might have been the best thing about the fish! It was all dressed with chili paste which I normally love but there was just too much of it and it made the whole fish salty and too hot ! Not a fan and would not order this again. We ended with their desserts - the must have Hula pie which is always phenomenal and the key lime pie which is not normally a dish k like but Thai was so light and tangy, best I have tried. Service was amazing throughout the night for our larger party and the views are just stunning!
